GEORGINA "GEORGE" HOWIE, 31, LYTTELTON, NZ

You know George is near when you hear the clatter of her many bangles. This well-adorned jeweller, silversmith, model and art director is one of the few people in the world who is enough of a perfectionist to be allowed into the hallowed halls of the Kingswood factory.

Affectionately known as "worker drone number 743", George helps out part-time on the edge and prep bench. She also has her own jewellery workstation and looks after the factory's resident rat.
